I am currently a PRS student in the University of Oxford's DPhil (PhD equivalent) program in Philosophy, associated with St. Hugh's College, working on a project titled 'Spinoza and Bayle: The Virtuous Atheism Debate' under the supervision of A.W. Moore and Caroline Warman.I specialise in the history of philosophy, focussing on early modern philosophy, as well as political and continental philosophy. Broadly, my research revolves around the reception of Spinoza's ideas in France from the 17th-20th centuries.Although I have extensive experience presenting my work, my deeper passion lies in independent research. To this end, my work has been published in multiple magazines and journals to date. I also have substantial work experience in the service industry, having previously worked as a barista, a front-of-house, a healthcare assistant, a lifeguard and a summer camp counsellor.
