- Director of fundamental trading analysis and strategic planning with performance directly measured against North Gas and Power Trading’s EBITDA goals of just over 275 million dollars annually, as of 2010- Primary information and analytical resource for each regional trading office where short-term fundamentals and risk analysis is being requested or performed- Manage network of fundamental electrical and gas intelligence used by each commercial trading group to mitigate risk that occurs during intra-day market fluctuations- Principle author and manager of daily gas and power trading reports covering impact subjects such as: Gas - Imports and Exports, LNG gasification, seven day state level gas supply, demand, and storage forecasts, pipeline capacity release estimates, congestion, volatility, expansion status, and pipeline receipt and delivery point flows. Power - Available operating power capacity, power outage status, forecasted congestion, market implied heat rates, nodal MCPE and LMP, and numerous others- Developed channel strategy essential in commercial leadership teams decision to pursue a specific market segment worth over 350 million dollars- Pioneered, and developed tool for putting standard information requests into one central repository that has increased the timeliness of reports, and reduced redundancy. This tool has been deployed to six U.S. offices, and is currently in use by more than 500 Shell staff members and has had proven savings to date against vendor equivalents of more than 4 million dollars- Identified area of redundancy within the SENA price reconciliation framework which archives and retrieves posted and historical pricing used for mark to market accounting and analysis. Created and deployed a solution to this issue, which has resulted in cost savings of more than $2.2 million in 5 years
