Identify LTL conversion opportunities, track shipment status and coordinate activities and service failure claims to meet service level goals for 4 Distribution Centers ensuring they are meeting profitability goals for a positive P&L statement. Post loads to bid board. Monitor and award bid. Analyze open loads for grouping opportunities. Analyze multiple reports and work them. Create, alter, tender, update, closeout loads, etc. in multiple TMS systems. Gain proficiency in new TMS software and maximize utilization of software. Serve as support liaison to carriers. May assist with the set up and management of new accounts. Responsible for addressing issues and disputes for drivers.Track and work with the customer(s) to receive assigned lanes and commitment levels from shipping locations. Includes responsibility for the ETA of the trucks at each stop.Ensures drivers and equipment are performing as necessary to provide on-time service.Ensures all fleet maintenance programs are current on tractors and trailers.Maximizes revenue per tractor through appropriate equipment utilization.Documents and communicates all service related issues. Work onsite at Sears terminal to enhance efficiency, taking direction from Director of Outbound Transportation of Sears and VP of Operations of Arnold Transportation. Manage 2 fleet managers, one logistics planner and approximately 70 drivers. Route planning, matrix improvements, building and tendering loads using multiple EDIs and corporate systems including WMS, YMS, TMS, and AS400 based systems., mediator and liaison between shipper and carriers. Communicate information pertinent to excess load availability with Brokerage and Rail carriers to secure transportation of freight. Analyze, interpret, and advise of multiple reports including carrier and shipper lates and failures. Provide insight to shipper of FMCSA rules of compliance. Assign drop dead times for all outbound loads, Communicate and advise carriers, Maintain knowledge of customer contractual requirements relative to trailer pool levels in order to keep turns at set levels, maintain trailer pool consisting of approximately 200-300 trailers. Ensure that all aspects of the company's logistics processes are operating at maximum potential and that full truckload shipments are being covered for the customer. Monitor shipments in jeopardy of not meeting delivery standards. Monitor and determine approval of TONU's, Work with loss prevention to ship and track "salted trucks" and trucks equipped with GPS and security cameras, etc.

Inspects aircraft for defects, such as fuel or oil leaks and malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, and pressurization systems. Adjusts instruments and makes minor repairs, such as replacing fuses and freeing jammed controls, to ensure safe operation of aircraft. Monitors fuel gauges and control panel to verify aircraft performance, and regulates engine speed according to instructions. Verifies passenger and cargo distribution and amount of fuel to ensure conformance to weight and balance specifications. Reports needed repairs to ground maintenance personnel. Keeps log of rate of fuel consumption, engine performance, and uncorrected malfunctions. Operate military vehicles and heavy equipment.
