My research project was to find the reasons for patient falls on one floor at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. To do this I researched 5 prior academic studies and literature to determine what prevents and causes patient falls. I also analyzed 57 falls in 2016-17 and nurse observations and discovered 5 factors that contributed most to.
