East Chapel Hill High School is a dynamic learning environment with high student expectations and a commitment to supporting the success of all students. In 2021 East was ranked #352 out of over 24,000 high schools in the United States by the U.S. News and World Report. East is ranked in the top 5% in North Carolina and has exceeded growth in over 90% of our student subgroups. With a diverse student population (48% minority) East is proud of over 90% of out students taking at least 1 AP test and last year we had a 93% graduation rate.
