Responsibilities: Manage creation and follow-up of financial projections, analysis of results vs expectations, identification of major variances and root causes; short and long-term Budgets and Business Plans considering variables such as sales, costs of goods sold, operating cash flow, working capital, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and other. Evaluate and implement innovation and improvement projects as well as potential joint ventures, synergies, expansions, and new businesses.Key Accomplishments:➢ Coordinated "Delivering a superior customer experience" project which promoted before the Central Executive Committee the adoption of change in the approach towards customer. The team received commendation by the CEO.➢ Structured budgets and 5-year strategic business plans➢ Designed the first managing and financial report system for the Trinidad & Tobago operation, reducing by 50% the time required for preparing the closing month reports.➢ Drafted from operational, engineering, and financial analysis the business case that allowed to increase 10% the capacity of the main clinker kiln.➢ Implemented the follow-up mechanisms for operational cost and administrative and sales expense (OPEX) reduction initiatives that generated an average profit of US$1.5 MM between 2008 and 2015.➢ Participated in the implementation of SAP as Superpower user➢ Coordinated in 4 times the due diligence process for the acquisition of businesses that would be complementary to CEMEX operation.➢ Conceptualized and implemented the operative structure of housing and infrastructure divisions for Central America.➢ Directed industrial trial runs to start supplying the local market for concrete admixtures.
