Advanced from technician to superintendentCoordinated numerous heat stress crews of up to 70 individuals to complete post weld heat treatments in a timely manner and on schedule. Organized sub-contractors and scheduled x-rays, penetrant tests, and various other non- destructive examinations of high-pressure high temperature pipe welds steam lines and steam generating turbines. Responsible for an annual budget over 2 million dollars which included staffing, expendable material, and non-expendable material. Assured that man hours did not exceed allocated labor hours. Worked in conjunction with numerous departments including welders, pipefitters and electricians assuring that project goals were at minimum met or exceeded. Over 500,000 safe man hours for my department. Responsible for coordination of equipment maintenance and proper calibration in accordance with the American Welding Society standards and federal government. Coordinated with federal authorized inspectors assuring quality standards were met or exceeded. Assured all records were completed in a timely manner and properly archived for future reference.
