1988-1994- Narcotics, Special Approach Unit (SAU), Tarrant County Narcotics Task Force (TCNICU)target street and mid level distribution. My assignment consisted of making street level purchases of illegal narcotics, interviewing defendants and potential confidential sources. Conducting investigations include search warrants, intelligence reports on assets for seizures. Involved in consulting on tactical training for safety during search warrant operations.1994-2008 - Fort Worth Office Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as Task Force Officer, North Texas High Intensity Drug Task Force (NTHIDTA) My assignment consisted of investigating national and international drug trafficking organizations in conjunction with resources from state, local and federal law enforcement agencies. Our primary focus was federal communications wiretaps, mobile, stationary and electronic surveillance for successful case prosecution.2008-2017 - Special Operations (SOD), Intelligence and Vice Permits. Criminal Tracking Unit (CTU) My assignment consisted of targeting felony repeat offenders by utilizing compiled data, electronic, mobile and stationary surveillance to interrupt crimes in progress. I also assisted conducting tactical training for undercover units.During my tenure in the intelligence unit I assisted with the research planning and development of the current day Watch Center currently utilized by the Fort Worth Police Department. Permits, allowed me the opportunity to work with all levels and departments within City of Fort Worth. My assignment as Permits Officer required me to conduct inspections of businesses needing permits through the police department and City Hall. I coordinated with departments such as legal, planning development, code enforcement and revenue so the customers could acquire their permits and submit payments to the revenue department. Knowledge of State and local city ordinances were essential to completing daily operations.
