Information Technology Contract Manager
Current- Oversee and negotiate Information Technology contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational standards while optimizing terms for advantageous outcomes. This includes the successful awarding of $300 million in IT contracts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Information Technology, legal, and procurement departments, to develop strategic contract frameworks that align with business objectives. - Conduct thorough reviews of contract proposals and agreements, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. - Maintain a comprehensive contract management system to facilitate efficient contract tracking, documentation, and renewal processes. - Play a pivotal role in vendor management by assessing vendor performance, overseeing audits, and enforcing service level agreements (SLAs). - Provide guidance and training to stakeholders regarding contract management best practices and compliance requirements. - Analyze market trends and benchmark data to inform contract negotiations and enhance cost-effectiveness, significantly contributing to the awarding process for substantial contracts. - Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and disputes, ensuring the timely resolution of issues. - Develop and sustain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and project deliverables. - Train, supervise, and manage a team of six employees, promoting professional development and ensuring high performance within the team.
