Art education was a passion for my professional experience; however, serving as a member of the board of H.S.C.C., Inc. and President of this worthy group was very rewarding. I continue to offer my grant writing skills to non-profit humane organizations for fund raising. I aspire to create all of the many quilts that are stored in my thoughts before I leave this planet !!Specialties: Caring for friends and neighbors during difficult times is simply part of who I am. I have a very successful history of grant writing for the humane care of animals. I pride myself in the memory of having rescued thousands of deserving animals throughout my years of service. Quilting is my creative outlet and keeps me grounded. It's my 'yoga' time of my day. I love making friends laugh out loud...and being a good friend.

  Incorporating the organization and assisting the group in the purchase of a professional kennel as our home was a great joy. H.S.C.C., Inc. grew from a small yet energetic group to become a prominent rescue organization throughout the state of Maryland. This was a result of years of tireless efforts by hundreds of dedicated and hard working individuals. They are all heroes to me.
