● Responsible for over 200 members of staff● To implement approved operating budgets and work programs to ensure timely delivery of crop to the mill, maintenance of acceptable harvesting intervals and high field standards.● Co-ordinate and control harvesting, upkeep and overhead costs in line with company management systems.● Ensure that field operations are efficiently and effectively staffed and labour requirements fulfilled.● Ensure that employee housing and employee welfare is managed in line with company guidelines and maintained at a high standard● To assist the Group Manager in the upkeep of all Safety, Health, Environment & Quality assets

● Compile, analyse and report on various aspects of farm performance to the senior management team● Develop business plans for new farming enterprises● Assist with the completion of farm subsidy forms and grant aid applications● Various office management including IT back up and technical queries● Provide relief cover for the farms accountant dealing with invoices and payments to suppliers including the weekly payroll for staff

● Responsible for 5 administrative staff● Analyse dead weight returns and disseminate results to senior management● Production of weekly trading reports and key performance indicators● Recording of animal movement licences and notification to the appropriate authorities● Recording of weekly stock movements and valuations● Production of business plans for grant aid applications
