I am currently transitioning from developer to project manager. I've been working as a technical project manager since the spring of 2019. I earned my PMP in October 2020. An official job title change is forthcoming.I am an analytical and associative thinker who is interested in leadership, efficiency, automation, and root cause analysis. This path has led me to support a workflow application (brings work to users efficiently, automatically), and Pega (as automated claim repair). I have a history of doing side projects in addition to my assigned work that fall into the efficiency and automation themes as well.My interest in leadership is seen in my time at True Blue Toastmasters, where I grew the club as VP of Marketing, then led the club as president to the highest distinction that Toastmasters International offers local chapters. I set ambitious goals for the club, shared a vision of success, encouraged and prodded when necessary, and set an upbeat, fun tone to each meeting (I tried to make public speaking as fun as possible).Outside of work, my analytical mind is satisfied in fantasy sports. I enjoy the competition, and reviewing statistics to improve my teams. My teams are competive every year, and I win more than my fair share of championships.My objective is to take whatever is before me, and try to make it better. How can it be more efficient? Can it be streamlined or, be automated? Is there a leadership element?
