Working as part of a team in a multinational company, I currently liaise between the Satellite coordination department, the Gallery, Ingest and field teams to insure the smooth running of the live news programming. Responsibilities include,Training new staff within the MCR to ensure they are competent at using all MCR equipment and systems, and be able to work autonomously. Development of guidelines and procedures for all MCR engineers in the use of new equipment, including guidelines on how documenting the work flow processes. Talking uplinkers onto Alaraby space on Eutelsat 3B and 10A and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
