As a finance and marketing major at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), I am committed to learning and applying the skills and knowledge that will enable me to pursue a career in the financial services industry. I have a strong interest in marketing, networking, and collaboration, which I demonstrate through my involvement in various extracurricular and professional activities.Currently, I am an intern BlackRock with the Philadelphia cash group. I have also participated in the Goldman Sachs Virtual Insight Series, the Summer Banking Academy at PVAMU, and the HBCU Possibilities Summit, where I prepare for the recruiting process, explore different businesses, and strengthen my skills. Additionally, I am the President of the PV Scholars of Finance, a student organization that provides mentorship, networking, and career development opportunities for finance majors. Furthermore, I am a part-time employee of the Sports Information Department, where I manage athletics’ social media accounts, produce graphical content, and lead new members in learning gameday operations. Through these experiences, I have developed and enhanced my communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as my adaptability, self-direction, and energy.
