Oracle SpecialistComputer Control Systems, Llc Aug 2003 - PresentDesigned and developed an Oracle database to replace the legacy INFOS database for the historical data and applications on an oil pipeline. The project also involved replacing all of the legacy historical applications and reporting. The processing and applications are written using Oracle PL/SQL, C++, Perl, and VB. The reports system delivers reports in TEXT, CSV and XLS formats via FAX, FTP and EMAIL.Wrote a new WPF C# Leak Analysis GUI application that provides graphical displays of line and tank volumes to aid in leak alarm attribution. The application employs custom plot and data grid controls to create a consistent interface while minimizing the underlying controls. The visual appearance of the displays were enhanced via the use of XAML to create buttons that look like tanks and pipeline segments. The database calls were made using Oracle ODP.Provided continuing support for Oracle based pipeline historical reporting system. As part of this support I have continued to re-engineer mainframe applications into Oracle based client server architecture. Also designed and programmed interfaces to a new SCADA system and a new custody transfer ticket accounting system.
