Director of the Expedited Settlement Program, an alternative dispute resolution program that worked on behalf of 42 boards and programs to settle discipline cases without litigation. The unit handled over 1000 cases per year. Improved settlement rate from 76% to 96% annually and expanded staff from 3 to 6 professionals. Testified before State Joint Budget Committee and approved for independent budget of almost $400,000 for program beginning July 1, 2009. Came in under budget for 2009 and 2010. Conducted community outreach to professional organizations and alternative dispute resolution committees to advance use of expedited settlement. Expedited Settlement Program model was adopted by the Division of Real Estate in 2009.
