A major focus of this effort was to provide a zero-touch provisioning experience for new smartphones, tablets, and computers.♦ Implemented ZScaler for remote workers during the pandemic to allow employees to work from home with minimal changes to their experience in the office. ♦ Reconfigured VDI environment to utilize floating pools and published applications to improve performance and user experience.♦ Changed from a DR-centric paradigm to a business continuity model to provide better resiliency in case of an emergency or large-scale disaster.♦ Championed early adoption of Cisco’s Software Defined Networking (SDN) with Cisco DNA/ISE installation at the access layer and ACI in the data center.♦ Specified and led the implementation of an ITIL-compliant IT Service Management (ITSM) system.♦ Delivered significant bottom-line savings, including resolving $1M billing dispute with telecom provider in MTA’s favor and eliminating $800K in expenses by disconnecting unused circuits.
