As an intern at CARE, I assisted on various tasks such as conducting research, literature reviews, and creating maps of academic journals for preparing articles for publication. CARE also supported me on my Master's thesis project by guiding me on developing an education program for their youth leadership development project. At the Emory Transplant Center I worked directly with patients as I trained and taught more than 450 kidney transplant patients on how to use patient health education tools and about their medications using effective communication techniques for patients between the ages of 15 to 85.
