Full-time video producer for Austin Evans, who's technology based YouTube channel has nearly 2 million subscribers. Work entails idea conceptualization, shooting, editing, and other aspects of production.

Originally a consumer tech-oriented YouTube channel and switched gears towards Japanese anime-focused content, 'fullOanime' is a test bed and proving ground for my abilities as cinematographer and filmmaker as I constantly learn new things and refine my technique. The channel has 150+ videos, 14,000+ followers that have contributed 1,000,000+ views, and has been featured and sponsored by companies such as Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya, Tokyoflash Japan, Ergotron, id America, Soundmagic, SRS Labs, HiFiMan, and many more.Partnered with Screenwave Media.

Produced 2 commercials for Kotobukiya's ARTFX figurines for the web. Still in progress.

Worked with Good Smile Company’s event team, dealing with setup, stockroom organization, crowd management, booth promotion, and breakdown. Portion of time spent making a highlight reel featuring display items using my personal field gear – Glidecam, 4K camera with external recorder/monitor, heavy-duty video tripod, and portable lighting.

A joint project with a fellow film student that’s all about our passion for technology. Heavily involved in the channel’s first two pieces. Directed and edited the third and most recent project – a review on Nintendo’s New 3DS console. Projects shot on-location and in studio, dealing with high-end Sony FS700 cameras with Zeiss cinema prime glass and RAW capable external recorders, studio grid lighting/rigging, dolly, and location/studio sound mixing. Editing done on cross Mac and PC workflows using Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite.

Worked closely with director Nate Silverman (RIT Class of 2017) and sound mixer Josh Banach (RIT Class of 2017) to make the most of the events that were to be filmed. On-location responsibilities revolved around framing interviews and musical performances using multiple camera angles simultaneously from different camera bodies/lenses (Sony FS700, FS 100, and Panasonic GH4), lighting without interfering with location events, managing sound and live video assets between shooting and post, and matching camera looks with gear prep prior to filming – all in a fast paced, live, setting.

A documentary about an inner-city’s use of technology in hopes of getting attendance numbers up. Coordinated interviews and shooting locations with students, teachers, and administrators in a typically unallowing environment. Dealt with getting releases signed for on-screen personalities and directing the interview conversation through researched prompts and questions. Directed assistant camera crew, cinematographers, and editor to finish the film in 2-3 weeks after pre-production.

Making videos on topics ranging from tech reviews, to tutorials, news reporting, and industry analysis. This channel has gained over 1 million video views.
