About Kenneth Butcher

I'm a dedicated employee currently working full time for UCF IT in one of the several main-campus deskside zones. I work as a tier 2 client support specialist, handling hardware and software support for the faculty and staff of UCF's college of business.My current job duties include troubleshooting and support of Windows 10 systems and Microsoft Office products, as well as installation and basic support of other software including but not limited to R and R Studio, MiKtex, Anaconda, Python, Zotero, Endnote, SPSS, SAS, and Respondus. On top of that, I also assist in management of the College of Business' AD OU through group policy settings, OU organization, user rights and privileges, and overall organization and updating of the OU. I have also written quick scripts to help with imaging pre-configuration automation as well as post-configuration ranging from reg files to full file backup checks.I'm interested in learning and connecting on topics including the following areas of expertise:Windows 10 and 11 administration - including Registry and Group PolicyHardware and software supportPowerShellSCCM/MECMPython
