My name is Kenneth Cates II. I am completing my Senior year at the University of South Florida as a Communications major. I have more than ten years of experience in the service industry centered around beverage service including craft beer and upscale coffee. As an operations manager and commissary coordinator with full cycle project oversight, I found my passion for interpersonal communication in business that can support community through the customer base. Since October 2023, I have been consulting as a private real estate photographer in the greater Tampa Bay area. My short-term professional goals are to increase my professional networks in the real estate photography field and further my knowledge about public and private drone surveying. My long-term professional goals are to apply drone surveying and mapping for sustainable redevelopment of both urban and rural areas. I am passionate about organizational communication, authentic connections, and the bonds formed over common causes. The communication skills I have developed allow me to ask appropriate questions, listen critically, and take constructive feedback in a multitude of work environments. My aim is to approach every interaction with integrity, respect, and humility to achieve a goal that is greater than the sum of its parts.
