About Kenneth Barnett

Using 25+ years of experience in wireless communications and RFIC design to lead the development of 5G Cellular and mmWave IC pathfinding teams at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Raleigh, NC. Working with a range of range of FEM and transceiver silicon technologies. Our RF/mmWave pathfinding groups have shown how high performance, highly integrated circuits can be designed using advanced processes such as RFSOI, FD-SOI, and SiGe BiCMOS as offered by GLOBALFOUNDRIES. I draw on my previous background and experience leading teams in the development of RF/Analog designs for embedded radio standards such as Bluetooth LE and ZigBee for Internet of Things (IOT) applications as well as other radio designs going back to 2G/3G/4G cellular as well as Mobile Video and Paging systems.
