Software development is my passion. My first experience with programming was as a child. I discovered a copy of GW-BASIC that came with my parent's Tandy 1000 HX. I was hooked from the moment I realized what you were capable of creating with even the simplest programming language. In high school I jumped at the chance to take a computer programming elective. After high school I enrolled in a computer programming degree at the local community college and later transferred to FAU and a bachelor's in computer science, which I'm currently pursuing when I can fit it in between work and family life.I've worked with computers in one capacity or another since 1994. As a part time computer technician, I worked my way through private school and then community college. In 2003 I began working for Partech, Inc as a field engineer, repairing touchscreen point-of-sale terminals. After a year I applied for a transfer to a position in software development, where I spent the next four years gaining skill as a software developer.Near the end of 2008 I took a position at Profit Developers Inc writing tax prep and efiling software. In the spring of 2012 I accepted a position as a senior software engineer at CTS America. In 2016 I joined Unum as a contract employee through TEKSystems.
