  • University Of Wisconsin - Superior Athletic Department
    In-Game Promotional Coordinator (Volunteer Position)
University Of Wisconsin - Superior Athletic Department Oct 2007 - Mar 2008
I rebranded the in-game promotions of UW-Superior Athletics by combining all of the events under one umbrella and creating the new name of in-game promtions: "Buzz Rewards Fan Incentive Program." Of all the professional tasks I have undertaken, this is the one I am most proud of. The concept of "Buzz Rewards" was simple and based upon other fan incentive programs across the nation. Although it never reached the pinnacle of what it could have become in terms of rewarding fans for showing up to athletic events, I was still able to do some very creative and fun stuff for the Athletic Department including:o Creation of the Student Organization Recognition Program that publicly thanked 17 student organizations during intermissions at the athletic eventso Creation of the Alumn(a) of the Game by honoring those alumnus in attendance by reading a breif biography and thanking them for their continued support of UW-Superior Athleticso Supervised student workers who helped facilitate the in-game promotions o Administred the in-game fan promotions during intermissions at the athletic eventso Announced campus and community events during breaks in play as part of the public service initiativeo Created an additional three contacts per game for our corporate sponsors during athletic eventsThe entire "Buzz Rewards" program was established to help promote the university, the athletic department, the students, the organizations, alumnus, and the sponsors and friends of the program by reaching out to the fans, students, administration and supporters of UW-Superior Athletics. It truly was a self-promoting promotions program.
