Successes enjoyed during this role:• Participated in the project team for the CuTE tool, which was successfully launched in 2010 (and was awarded the Nokia Innovation Award). After launch, I was very focused on supporting the roll-out, training, troubleshooting and further improvement of the tool.• The CuTE tool was responsible for reducing the average lead-time for variant creation from 9+ days to less than 2 day as well as significantly reducing the average error rate (per variant)• Maintained existing tool library and supporting end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues encounteredThis role built on the requirements and knowledge gained from my earlier Variant Specialist role and additionally has required:• Tools design and creation from a high level view point (ie conception and implementation management, rather than actual tool coding)• Understanding of variant creation tools, in order to be able to give advanced support during tool lifecycle• Tracking of multiple on-going projects• Knowledge of Series 40 SW and its capabilities as well as how to customize• Ability to interface with multiple groups across various S40 products, including core SW teams, local variant creators and variant specialists• Needed to work effectively under pressure
