About Kenneth Farkas
I am a positive and goal oriented individual with experience from mainly marine EPC projects. Coming from an unpredictable and hectic environment, I am familiar with adapting to challenging situations in short time frame projects. From 2007 I have been working as a project manager on several different newbuilds in Norway, Romania, Vietnam and Italy. In this entire period I have been situated in a multinational environment, cooperating with electricians, engineers and management from different countries. This experience has provided me with valuable lessons in communication and negotiation as well as local technical customs, rules and regulations. Coming from the ship building industry, I am familiar with its diversity of electrical components. This including starters & switchboards, alarm and communication systems as well as power generation and consumers.From 2020-2022 i started workin with high voltage infrastructure as a project manager and took my electrical authorisation in 2020 for both installation and EKOM "Autorisert elektroinstallatør / faglig ansvarlig". In this period i managed the installation of over 100MW of computer center infrastructure, one of the worlds biggest land based salmon farms, and general maintenance projects for the local grid company, high voltage cable runs etc. I have also managed ferry charging infrastructure projects and built up a solid portfolio of managing privately owner high voltage infrastructure "Driftsleder" with more than 100MVA installed power. From 2022 i started as department manager for Nettpartner AS, Møre og Romsdal. The unit consists of 23 people within different segments; Lighting systems, fiberoptics and High voltage infrastructure.The department is currently working on projects within all these segments and also runs the company's efforts within green transition, herein solar power, land based and marine charging systems, battery storage and wind power.
