As a Senior Engineer at OneSubsea, an SLB Company, I specialize in designing innovative connection systems for subsea production. My work integrates advanced technical expertise with a deep understanding of the challenges posed by the subsea environment.Throughout my career, I have led diverse teams, managed complex projects, and delivered solutions that drive efficiency and success in some of the industry’s most demanding environments. Key accomplishments include securing high-value contracts through effective proposal development and negotiation, leading engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, and implementing innovative solutions to address challenging subsea engineering problems. My journey has taken me from Houston to Kuala Lumpur, where I honed my systems engineering skills on projects like the Liwan field development.I am also deeply committed to advancing the engineering profession and giving back to the community. As a first-generation college graduate, I know the value of mentorship and opportunity. While earning my mechanical engineering degree at the University of Houston, my involvement with organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers shaped my path as a leader. Since then, I have served in leadership roles with NSBE Houston Professionals, ASME South Texas, and the UH Engineering Alumni Association, advocating for STEM education, diversity, and inclusion.In addition to my engineering work, I am the founder of Professional Plus, LLC, which helps individuals—from students to mid-career professionals—navigate successful career journeys.
