All computers are bad. All software is bad. And yet we continue to make more of them both.I'm to blame as much as the next person. I've been writing software for money since I was in my teens and Python (the only language in my history that really matters) since the early 2000s. I've written too much Python, mostly using Django. I've released some open source packages that have been well-received. I've also taught a lot of other people to use Python and Django, doubling or tripling the amount of bad software attributable to me. I'm a monster.At my current job, I help and manage people writing software. Just more crimes. I help people enjoy writing software so they'll write more software in the same amount of time. I also help people stay up to date with how to write yet more software in Python and Django. Someone should stop me before I teach again.Outside of software and teaching software, I've also spoken at conferences and given tutorials there as well. A few times, I even helped organize software community conferences and events. Do you see the sins I have unleashed upon the world? What kind of monster would do this?!
