I founded Fijian data company, Traseable Solutions, with my wife to help address the issue of Illegal, Unregulated, and Unreported (IUU) fishing in our oceans by making cutting-edge technology for digitalisation and traceability accessible and affordable in developing countries. This helps keep the industry accountable and gives consumers more information to make an informed buying decision.Today, we also work in agriculture where our agritech platform helps provide relevant information to farmers in Fiji, PNG, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands and creates new opportunities for them to learn and earn.In addition to work at Traseable, I utilise my deep ICT experience across the Pacific as an international consultant and have worked on digital fisheries value chains, ICT capacity building and training, advising government ICT teams, and providing strategic advise on digital projects in the Pacific.As a pioneer in the use of blockchain technology in the Pacific, I run training sessions, provide advice, and have been involved in the use of the technology in food supply chains.
