I'm responsible for developing and delivering security-related training for field workers and managers within our IRC READI portfolio. I am driven by these primary goals: First, respond to the immediate training needs emanating from ongoing humanitarian emergencies. Second, pave the way to the long-term scalable and regular delivery of READI courses throughout the IRC. Third, facilitate ToT courses for upcoming READI instructors within the IRC and much more.

Safety & Security consultant for NGOs and commercial clients. Delieveries: - Safety Advisor and Trainer for NGOs in Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, Ethiopia, Lebanon etc. - HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training) - First Aid training (field, guards, drivers etc.) - Safety Training. - Risk assessment - Capacity building - Travel security - Risk management - Training of security guards for NGOs - Remote First Aid and HEAT training for journalist and business travellers going to hazardous/hostile environments. - First Aid training for the Danish Police and Danish Military - Training of Danish security guards (e.g. law and legislation, first aid, elementary firefighting, conflict management, communication, cultural understanding etc. References can be forwarded if requested.

Short term assignment

Teaching and instructing both present and new security guards, in all the mandatory skills related to the job as a security guard working in Denmark.Skills as: First Aid, conflict management, the role of the security guard, cultural understanding , Law and legislation, static safety, security awareness, service, communication etc.
