Positioned within the Corporate Engineering department, I was responsible for the co-management of an engineering project. In addition, I worked for the Global Engineering Standards division, leading various projects and initiatives pertaining to the creation and implementation of the company's engineering standards. ❖ Revised and maintained Excel workbooks to track current and planned financial expenses of all ASR Group engineering projects. Compiled data from each project’s Authorized for Expenditure (AFE) and SAP Expense Logs to determine financial carryover for the 2020 fiscal year.❖ Assisted engineering management to implement the Baltimore Refinery’s Liquid Loading and Wash Station Upgrade project. Interfaced with contractors, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work. Used SAP to track and store equipment/parts.❖ Lead the company’s standardization of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) across all ASR facilities. Hosted a 3-month series of meetings with the company’s CAD Drafters to establish clear creation, design, and storage criteria for PIDs.

Positioned within the Global Engineering Standards division of the Corporate Engineering department, I was responsible for various projects and initiatives pertaining to the creation and implementation of the company's engineering standards.❖ Individually authored and published over 40 engineering standards. Standards detail design, construction, material, vendor, and maintenance specifications for a variety of engineering topics pertaining to manufacturing and project management.❖ Hosted meetings with project management and engineering personnel to obtain information specific to each ASR facility, push the approval of pending standards, and initiate collaborative problem solving for developing standards.❖ Highlight: Authored a standard for the Vice President of Corporate Engineering, putting forth best practices and engineering designs for the prevention of product quality failures pertaining to the bulk loading of liquid sugars.❖ Highlight: Developed a maintenance & inspection plan for wastewater pipelines in response to industrial waste sewer failures across various ASR Group facilities. Conducted meetings with operations personnel to alter the maintenance program.

Positioned within the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technology Division (IHEODTD) at Indian Head, MD. I worked within the Manufacturing department to aid in the operations of two engineering teams: Nitration Processes, Chemical Scale-Up.❖ Nitration Processes: Meet with chemical suppliers to discuss long-term chemical procurement/shipment options. Aided a team of engineers in the creation of procurement Contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreements.❖ Scale-Up: Worked with engineers to prepare and troubleshoot process equipment for chemical scale-up operations. Controlled process conditions during production periods to obtain accurate scale-up results.❖ Scale-Up: Authored production reports to document various chemical synthesis trials and analyze their outcomes.❖ Scale-Up: Independently investigated the recrystallization of a novel organic material with focus on particle size and morphology manipulation.
