I have a field of expertise in embedded firmware design, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and Xamarin development tools. I currently work as the Director of Software Development at Whelen Engineering, a global leader in emergency warning systems and lighting solutions.As the Director of Software Development, I oversee the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment, for various projects across different domains, such as end-user order specification tools, peripheral configuration applications, and intranet web portal. I also collaborate with other managers, engineers, designers, and customers to define the requirements, scope, and budget of each project. I leverage my skills in process improvement, software design, and corporate innovation to ensure the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our software solutions. I recently completed a certificate program in Corporate Innovation: Strategies for Leveraging Ecosystems from MIT Sloan Executive Education, where I learned how to harness the power of external partnerships and networks to foster innovation and growth.
