I was a member of the firm’s Antitrust, Health Care, Class Actions, and Contractual and Partnership Disputes groups, where I represented U.S. health care sector participants in a variety of legal matters and consulted as an expert on the U.S. pharmaceutical industry.

I taught the Pharmacy Law course and co-taught the Pharmacy in the U.S. Health Care System course in the four-year Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

I was a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, where I represented U.S. health care sector participants in a variety of legal matters and consulted as an expert on the U.S. pharmaceutical industry. I was also a member of the firm's Qui Tam Practice Group, where I worked on federal and state false claims actions involving allegations of fraudulent conduct in the U.S. health care sector.

I chaired the firm's Health Care Practice Group, where I represented U.S. health care sector participants in a variety of legal matters and consulted as an expert on the U.S. pharmaceutical industry. I was also a member of the firm's Complex Litigation Practice Group, where I worked on multidistrict litigation, federal class actions, and federal and state false claims actions involving allegations of anticompetitive and fraudulent conduct in the U.S. health care sector.In 2006, I served on Virginia Governor Tim Kaine's Health and Human Resources Transition Policy Committee.

I founded and chaired the firm's Health Care Practice Group, where I represented U.S. health care sector participants in a variety of legal matters.I was the primary associate within the firm representing a group of nearly 4,000 pharmacy businesses located throughout the U.S. in multidistrict litigation that economists described as "the largest antitrust case ever brought in the pharmaceutical industry" and “one of the largest antitrust cases in American history.”I was a registered lobbyist involved in all aspects of the state legislative process in Virginia including: formulating and drafting proposed bills, administrative regulations, and study resolutions; drafting position statements; organizing and directing “grassroots” lobbying efforts; and formally appearing before administrative agencies and legislative committees. I formed and managed a 501(c)(6) organization and its affiliated political action committee on behalf of several dozen Virginia independent pharmacy businesses. At the federal level, I worked with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
