CLIENT: ALLSTATE INSURANCE - CLIENT FILE SYSTEM (CFS) INITIATIVE Allstate Client File System (CFS) was an Allstate initiative to link customers and policies across all their business units (e.g., Personal Property and Casualty, Home, etc.). Prior to CFS, Allstate business units operated independently so the company and agents didn't have a good 360 view of all customer profile information. Specifically, Ken was responsible for designing and developing a phonetic search and scrub software package and set of processes to match customers across a variety of systems. This required comparing data from each business unit and identifying customers that may be a match based on phonetic software rules or substitution rules. Because of Ken's background with SSA-NAME3 software at Chicago Title and Trust, Ken was able to design and implement this software from scratch. This was used as the basis for Allstate scrubbing, matching and customer search systems for many years. Ken was also responsible for designing, implementing, and testing several other processes related to the launch of the CFS prior to being rolled out to customer service representatives and agents in the field.
