Ken focused on formalizing the discipline of Product Management within the business for digital marketing applications and services.Served on the EK3 Board of Directors, he was involved with the sale of the business to Cineplex. EK3 was acquired as a strategic growth platform and key to the Cineplex diversification strategy.SVP, Creative & Account Services, he led the team responsible for maintaining and building customer relationships and opportunities. He grew this team from its inception to a major competitive differentiator for EK3. Working with global clients such as Tim Hortons, RBC, McDonald's, Walmart, Home Depot and Target, he was exposed to major brands and their approach to applied innovation and marketing.As a founder of EK3, key responsibilities included business planning, strategy, corporate governance and funding which resulted in successful A/B funding rounds.Ken holds a bachelors of engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. He followed this with a masters degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Western University where he studied in the Centre for Cognitive Engineering and co-founded EK3. Maintaining his relationship with Western, Ken lectures a business course on Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation to 4th year and Master's Engineering Students and has received the Teachers Honour Award of Excellence several times.Personal interests include: sound design & music composition, graphics design, painting, gardening and cooking.
