Identified his scope of duties, which were so broad and diverse that I recommended they be split into various roles and assigned to different service lines within the company. This allowed us to provide required support, eliminated single points of failure, and gave management visibility into the environment. Within six months, hired a Solution Analyst, as a direct report. Joined SharePoint team and became US SharePoint Solution Manager. •Leadership During a Time of Organizational Challenge - In 2012, the company had the two senior Global SharePoint managers resign, with no plans for succession or a knowledge transfer. Stepped up and took on major responsibilities: Single point of contact (SPOC) for the Change Advisory Board (CAB)) ; Global responsibility for all SharePoint activity; Solution Manager for on-Premise platforms in US; Office 365/BPOS SharePoint Support; Solution Manager for Lotus Notes in the US. By effective management of entire platform globally, executive level management had the bandwith to define the new structure for the Collaboration and Knowledge Management team. -
