Supervised two assistants who were responsible for collecting receivables on sales of $400 to $650 million. Accompanied sales personnel on calls and after evaluating the facility and operations would generally adjust the credit limit. Assisted in the collection of troubled accounts including negotiating workout schedules. When justified, charged late fees (generating $30,000 in additional income) at the same time realizing the importance of maintaining the customer relationships. Active member of a local and national credit group both specializing in steel sales.

I was accountable for credit decisions for one-half (on average nine per week) for this $70,000,000 equipment leasing company.
