Consulting with small and medium-sized businesses on ways to improve their Logistics and Supply Chain operations. This starts with reviewing their current Business, Financial, and Operation Plans to look for areas that are candidates for updating operations, cutting cost, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. This approach has resulted in building customer confidence by identifying new paths for expanding into new product markets and service areas.

The Supply Chain environment is undergoing exponential growth worldwide. Business expansion has - in many cases, resulted in organizations rushing to expand operations in an effort to keep up with competitors and meet product demand. The dilemma imposed on organizations attributable to the rapid expansion of the market is having trained and experienced personnel available to fill newly created managerial positions. Currently I am working with new business startup's to assist in planning and organizing for growth by assisting the Team in developing intermediate and strategic plans for growth to counter competition.

Received Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in March 2015. Dissertation title: A SURVEY OF THE U.S. INTERMODAL FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM TO MEET FUTURE REQUIREMENTS: A CASE STUDY. Final edits to dissertation completed and approved in May 2015 with publication in July 2015. Tutoring Undergraduate students in business subjects and also serve as volunteer counselor assisting disabled and homeless veterans find jobs or get medical care through Veterans Administration (VA) facilities. Currently seeking employment and also considering consulting opportunities.

Senior Logistics Analyst and SME in Transportation and inventory management. Experienced in movement of missile systems worldwide, planning and establishing inventory management systems, maintenance and repair operations for vehicles and weapons systems. Managed a multi-functional organization with nine (9) work centers that employed 400+ workers engaged in manufacturing, QA, equipment repair, shipping and receiving, production scheduling, and conducted training for new employees.

Provided oversight and support of Inter-Service Support Agreements (ISSAs) between the MDA Program Office and sub-contractors to the Prime contractor. Served as the on-site representative and SME for the GMD Logistics Directorate (GMK) on all matters pertaining to new facility construction, transportation scheduling, and coordination for the missile field being constructed in Alaska. Prepared “White Papers” for senior management on issues affecting program requirements, and schedules requiring Program Office attention. Conducted briefings to senior program management personnel on the status of missile field construction schedules, potential risk areas, and mitigation actions required and taken.

Designed, developed, and implemented a Material Management System for NASA's Hubble Space Telescope (HST) program. NASA imposed a compressed time frame to have the system operational and a budgetary ceiling for both labor and software procurement. A Flat File database design was selected to meet the time and budgetary constraints, rather than a Relational database. A Requirements Document was prepared and approved by NASA Project Office and the system designed and tested in less than 90 days. Sample data was loaded and system tested with buy-off by NASA in 10 working days. A worldwide inventory of satellite hardware was conducted by the Team and the data loaded into the database. Personnel at each location were trained to use the computerized Material Management System called SARMATS (for Satellite Resources Management and Tracking System) to update the status of assets as required. The total assets of the HST were valued at over $500 million. The system provided the history of each orbital replaceable unit (ORU), repair component availability, storage and maintenance costs, suppliers of critical components required for refurbishment of ORUs, and other data for forecasting future requirements. The Team was recognized by the Marshall Space Flight Center (NASA) HST Program Office for achieving the difficult task of gaining control and management of the HST spare parts inventory located at over 50 separate locations worldwide in minimal time and with a restricted budget.
