He was instrumental in spearheading Chemco into a recognized player in the retail security business in Singapore (previously dominated by a competing brand, Sensormatics), with the successful launch of Checkpoint EAS Systems.In another marked achievement at Chemco, Ken led the successful implementation of a USD25mn Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) project at Singapore’s Changi International Airport in 2003. Under his leadership, the company installed and commissioned of more than 40 systems at the airport’s Terminal 1 and 2.Ken joined Checkpoint Systems in 2004 as its regional sales manager where he grew the business by more than 20% year-on-year. On the back of this achievement, he was appointed as the Country Manager of Greater China in 2007.As the Country Manager of Greater China, he assume full profit and loss responsibilities and led an team comprising of Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Finance, HR and Customer Serivce personnel. During his tenure, he successfully grew Checkpoint’s business in China by more than 10 folds within the first 5 years of managing the business.
