Responsible for all financial, operational and administrative support for this $100 million revenue privately held leveraged-buy-out manufacturer, distributor and importer of Swiss made sport watches, fine jewelry, fragrances, cosmetics, men's apparel and footwear, Swiss Army knives, cutlery, and electronic sporting goods. Customer base consist of jewelry stores, mass market merchandisers, warehouse clubs, sporting goods and hardware stores nationwide and in Canada. Apparel and footwear was sold at Nordstrom's, Saks, Neiman Marcus and other upscale fashion outlets. Key assets of the Company are intangible distribution rights to worldwide markets using highly identifiable trademark names and patented recreational and sporting goods products. Direct reports include three controllers (NY, Switzerland & Canada), Human Resource Director, Director of Operations, Director of Information Systems, and Manager of Consumer and Customer Services.* Financial executive with responsibility for accounting, finance, banking, audit insurance and risk management, foreign exchange transactions / hedges and community public relations.* Took an unstructured, informal and paternally operated company through the pre IPO process by establishing policies and procedures while laying out the framework for financial reporting on a public basis.* Reduced by more than $100,000 per year packaging and catalogue production costs by sourcing printing to Canadian vendors while improving the quality of the marketing material.* Responsibilities include coordinating and managing all legal matters of the Company including contract mangement, trademark registrations, protection of trademarks and patents, trademark infringements and litigation. Sole on-site corporate officer defining policies and with full authorization powers of the board of directors. Corporate Secretary for four legal entities handling all incorporation and filing matters.
