Current duties include plant maintenance and assurance routines, breakdowns on systems such as, separation controls, gas recovery, flow meter systems, control room monitoring (SCADA) & ESD systems. Also Fire & Gas assurance routines & maintenance to comply with company legislation (Heat, Flame, Smoke, H2S Gas, Methane Gas, Deluges & ESD input & output testing). Liaise vendors and take part in Fire & Gas commissioning jobs and complete testing as required. Regular dealings with all types of breakdowns and fault finding on all Fire & Gas systems. Work alongside ICP, Lloyds (HSE) when onboard for equipment verification checks.I am also responsible to prepare all associated permits (ISSOW System) including conducting risk assessments with personnel involved in the work. Prepare and carry out isolations (Mechanical or Electrical) to the highest standard (ISSOW). I am responsible for ordering any spare equipment that is required through the Maximo system.
