We prepare our students for impactful citizenship by developing their entrepreneurial skills for both for-profit corporations and not-for-profit social-impact businesses.

Building teams around patented technologies at Weill Cornell Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rockefeller University, we work with scientists, clinicians, inventors and entrepreneurs to help launch medical inventions, ventures and technologies (formerly known as the Bench to Bedside Initiative).

I founded and launched play2prep, in partnership with McGraw-Hill Education, which grew to become the most popular test prep app on iOS and Android. The personalized mobile training app for college admissions tests was a Top 50 Education App and recognized for excellence by Time Magazine, Edutopia and EdTech Magazine. The app featured a patented, real-time, two-player game (think Words With Friends), allowing players to prep with the community of students worldwide (the app was offered in eight languages: English, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese and French). The proprietary platform is no longer available for license.

Advised on strategy, business and product launches for enterprise and early-stage businesses, including ESPN, NBCUniversal and Acxiom Corporation.

I led this early-stage, VC-backed B2B media company covering radio frequency identification (RFID) to market leadership and ultimately acquisition by Emerald Expositions/Onex Partners. The company provides information resources for RFID technologies and applications online (www.rfidjournal.com), in print (RFID Journal magazine) and at its events worldwide.

I launched the digital, direct marketing and direct response businesses of NHL ICE, an IBM spinoff. The business was acquired by the National Hockey League in 2001.

I launched the corporate business development unit charged with creating new revenue streams across the 30+ Random House business units, including direct-to-consumer, custom publishing and retail distribution.

I managed consumer marketing teams and P&Ls at Sports Illustrated and Fortune Magazines, including direct mail, telemarketing, and database marketing. Led consumer marketing effort for Selective Edit launch: custom-bound magazine editions based on individual subscriber data.
