As the Country Representative for Madagascar, I lead strategic efforts to expand regional exports, focusing on increasing trade with South Africa and the United States. I work closely with key market players and stakeholders across Madagascar, driving initiatives that align with our broader regional goals. In addition to my work in Madagascar, I collaborate extensively with fellow country representatives and cross-functional teams throughout Southern Africa and beyond, fostering partnerships and sharing insights to achieve shared objectives across the continent.

In 2020, I co-founded English Speaking Facilitators SARL, a registered Malagasy company specializing in a wide range of English language services. Our offerings include tailored English training for businesses, the planning and delivery of educational and extracurricular activities for schools, as well as professional translation, interpretation, and language-related consulting.Through this venture, I've gained hands-on experience in managing operations, driving business growth, and meeting the diverse language needs of our clients. The work we do helps bridge communication gaps and enhances the global readiness of both individuals and organizations in Madagascar.

In 2018, I co-founded BiMi, a motivational and inspirational platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in Madagascar. Born from our experience with the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) – Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa, BiMi was created as a way to give back to our community and inspire young Malagasy leaders to take action for positive social change.Through BiMi, we provided a space for young leaders to host talks, share their journeys, and encourage their peers to get involved in community development. Over the course of 2018 and 2019, we organized regular motivational talks, monthly radio programs, and one-off events, all made possible by the support of dedicated partners. Our mission was to ignite passion, drive, and a sense of responsibility among the youth, helping them realize their potential and contribute to the growth and development of Madagascar.

As Director of Strategy at AmCham, I spearheaded the organization's strategic planning efforts, identifying and cultivating key partnerships to drive growth and impact. I was responsible for engaging with businesses, government entities, and other external stakeholders to foster collaboration and support. Additionally, I led the development and implementation of strategic projects, from drafting compelling proposals to ensuring successful execution. My role was pivotal in aligning AmCham's initiatives with the evolving needs of its members, contributing to the chamber's growth.

I joined AmCham Madagascar in November 2017 as a Business Intelligence Intern at the AGOA Resources Center, where I supported key initiatives aimed at enhancing trade relations and market access. My dedication and quick learning led to my recruitment in April 2018 as Communication Manager. In this role, I took charge of both internal and external communications, managing the chamber's public presence and editing regular press articles.A highlight of my tenure was being appointed Chief Editor for The American, Madagascar's first-ever business magazine fully edited and printed in English. Despite not having formal qualifications in communications or journalism, my passion for media, combined with my ability to adapt quickly, allowed me to thrive in the role, helping to elevate the chamber's brand and connect with a broader audience.

In November 2017, Kenny was elected as the Madagascar Chapter Coordinator for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center (RLC) Southern Africa. This role marked his first experience as a national coordinator, where he represented Madagascar at the regional level and played a pivotal role in shaping the chapter’s direction. Kenny was responsible for developing and executing alumni action plans in collaboration with the representative committee, organizing local alumni activities, and providing regular reports to the YALI Center in South Africa.His leadership as a national coordinator opened up a wealth of networking opportunities, both within Madagascar and across the African continent, fostering connections with young leaders and organizations committed to driving positive change.

During 2017-2018, Kenny worked with UIEE, a public-private partnership aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and employability in Madagascar. As Project Lead, he managed a small team focused on organizing impactful events designed to empower local entrepreneurs and job seekers. These included training sessions, conferences, workshops, and competitions, all aimed at building skills and expanding opportunities in the Malagasy workforce. Through this role, Kenny continued to contribute to the development of the Malagasy entrepreneurial ecosystem and played a key part in advancing youth employment.

Kenny's professional journey began in 2014, just before his graduation, when he joined CEERE, an association dedicated to promoting entrepreneurial culture among young Malagasy people. At CEERE, he gained invaluable hands-on experience that no traditional internship could offer. He honed his skills in event planning, organizing business-related events that brought together entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and industry professionals.One of his key roles was facilitating and moderating the monthly "Rendez-vous des Entrepreneurs," where he developed his public speaking and communication skills. His contributions and leadership led to his appointment as Secretary General of the association in 2015, where he continued to drive the association's mission to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs in Madagascar.

In 2016, Kenny worked on a short-term contract with the Government of Madagascar, contributing to a digital university initiative aimed at improving access to higher education. His responsibilities included conducting surveys and field studies to assess the feasibility and implementation of the project. The project progressed slowly and presented its challenges, ultimately shaping his decision to pursue opportunities in the private sector, where he found greater alignment with his skills and motivations.
