Selected as a Robotics Institute Summer Scholar to work under Prof. Changliu Liu in the Intelligent Control Lab on the safety of human-robot interaction.

Working under Dr. Chernova and Dr. Ravichandar in RAIL (Robot Autonomy and Interactive Learning) on a part of Army Research Lab's Distributed and Collaborative Intelligent Systems and Technology (ARL DCIST) project. My work is on two fronts, one we hope to gain a greater understanding of what it means and how to leverage heterogeneous robots in an adversarial Capture The Flag scenarios. Our finding is STRATA, a a unified framework that models the optimization of large teams of heterogeneous robots published in ArXiv. Continuing work includes a dynamic, in-match task allocation framework, realistic simulation of human fatigue in task allocation scenarios as well as human-robot interaction in the Robotarium. I am specifically creating a Unity3D based and Matlab/Robotarium Capture the Flag simulation framework as well as helping with other implementation and research. Currently, we are also working with understanding how humans can interact and work with multi-agent teams. We will be using Mechanical Turk scenarios to run human trials and better understand how humans can understand and work with these teams.

Vertically Integrated Project (VIP): Lightning In Space- Recipient of the Warren Batts Innovation Award for academic, leadership, and professional growth through substantial contributions to their VIP projects. - Improving Weather balloon data monitoring and collection system.- Developing new usage of a multi-modal communication platform using APRS as well as cellular for real-time, bidirectional communication from flight to ground.- Interactive Website to track data in real time from lighting.

Visiting Researcher under Dr. Benjamin D. Nye, Director for Learning Science Research, specifically on the Office of Naval Research (ONR) funded MentorPal project which builds and analyzes the impacts of interactive mentor technology on career choices. Originally a 10 week REU, extended to 12 weeks for additional development.- Redesigned the NLP Question-Answer Code to be web enabled.- Developed and deployed a new interactive website around it: MentorPal.org- Processed and created ML models for two new interactive mentors- Field study at Naval Postgraduate School (results pending)
