I am a dedicated and passionate Materials Engineering master's student in my third semester at Monash University. With a solid academic foundation and hands-on experience in advanced materials processing and manufacturing, I have honed my skills in polymers, composites, ceramics, and metals. My academic journey, coupled with industry exposure, has shaped me into a well-rounded engineer, particularly drawn to cutting-edge developments in the defense and automotive sectors.During my studies, I gained significant insights through various projects, including my final year research on the microstructural and mechanical properties of metals like 17-4 PH stainless steel and D2 tool steel in Additive Manufacturing, using different heat treatment cycles. This project enhanced my expertise in metallurgical analysis and my ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios.My industry experience includes a month-long internship at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, India, where I worked in the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) department. There, I evaluated and tested steel springs used in train bogies for defects and reliability, using techniques such as Ultrasound and Magnetic testing. I also gained proficiency in hardness testing, compression testing, and Universal Testing Machine (UTM) operation, furthering my understanding of steel properties and manufacturing processes.
