About Kenny Bishop
My professional career started in music performance and production, then shifted into event management, political campaigns and eventually government work. I've produced several large-scale public events including music concerts, inaugurations, conferences, and festivals. As Executive Director of the Kentucky Governor's Mansion I managed first family schedules, house operations, events and staff, and managed a $5 million renovation of the historic house. I then served as the manager of special projects at the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission before working as Deputy Communications Director in the Lexington, Kentucky mayor's office, deputy campaign manager for a U.S. Senate campaign, and Legislative Aide to the city's 4th District Council office. I am currently the Legislative Director in the Secretary's office at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
