In July of 2021 EXOS@Google expanded their wellness program by launching a state of the art production studio to livestream fitness classes to Googlers during the pandemic. While I enjoyed supporting our facility operations and teammates in the Bay Area, the prospect of working on a cutting edge digital fitness product was compelling enough to move cross country to New York.I'm grateful to have led a 7 person team responsible for filming and distributing 32 fitness class per week to a regional audience of 16,000 Googlers. Our NYC digital team created content ranging from yoga and meditation to boxing and strength classes. This role was an excellent combination of people management, program operations, and digital production.Unfortunately, our team was impacted by a reduction in force, April of 2023.

A few months prior to the pandemic I started seeking new growth opportunities and on March 16th of 2020 I accepted a leadership position on the EXOS@Google Team.This was a rewarding role, helping a Team of 30 fitness professionals navigate significant ambiguity and transition during COVID. I learned about digital communication, performance and budget management, and driving results in a geographically distributed work environment. I'm proud of the grit, energy, and attention to detail my Team illustrated as we supported Google's transition to hybrid by reopening 12 fitness facilities during a six week period in the Summer of 2021.

During the Summer of 2012 I was recruited to join Google's corporate wellness team (GFit) as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Within 6 months I established myself as one of Google's top trainers, consistently generating revenue at 187% of quota and delivering upwards of 110 sessions per month. During my 7+ years as a GFit Coach I worked with over 1000 Googlers. One of my favorite aspects of this role was being a featured presenter at team events and off-sites, regularly speaking on the topics of leadership, energy management, and goal setting.

After completing my one year contract with YouTube, I decided to get certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Science. Working in a dynamic corporate setting highlighted the importance of prioritizing my health and nourishing my energy, and I wanted to share this philosophy with individuals and organizations.Through networking, providing excellent customer service, and developing referral systems I was able to quickly establish a loyal client base of Silicon Valley professionals. In this role, I enjoyed delivering unique experiences for my clients, customized to their budget, needs, and goals. I earned contracts worth $2,000 - $6,000 and had the opportunity to work with startups and large corporate clients like Kaiser Permanente, UC Santa Cruz, and Stanford University.

I started my career as a content operations specialist with YouTube's Trust & Safety Team. After 5 months I was promoted to a Team Lead position and had the opportunity to onboard, mentor, and manage 4 teammates responsible for processing over 5,000 user flagged videos per week.In this role I enjoyed building a positive team culture, streamlining processes, and helping my direct reports excel, while reaching our weekly team targets.
