In my role as a Peer Mentor for the STEP UP Mentor Program at Lehman College, I provide guidance and support to underrepresented and at-risk students, helping them navigate their college journey. This part-time, seasonal position allows me to: • Assist students in developing effective study habits and academic strategies. • Provide resources and support for personal and professional development. • Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student success initiatives.Through this experience, I am further developing my leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, all of which I believe are essential for my future career in accounting. I am committed to continuing to make a positive impact on my community and supporting others in achieving their academic and professional goals.
