As the Chair and Chief Editor of the standard, ensured the web service standard was architected using protocols and technologies most widely supported across various web services stacks.

Key Achievements:1. As a member of the International Protocols and Formats working group of the W3c, developed the ARIA (Accessibility of Rich Internet Applications) global standard. 2. Integrated the ARIA global standard in html 5.This global standard was implemented across assistive technologies, browsers and operating systems. It is the only standard that makes web 2.0 technology accessible to people with special cognitive needs. ARIA contains widget and document roles, states and properties, and semantics for live regions that convey vital information required by assistive technology for effective interaction with the user interface.
