My curiosity keeps me learning, and my desire to use my skills to set others up for success keeps me building code. As a kid I loved watching my dad play video games. I would try to learn all the mechanisms of the game engine. Eventually I got to the point where I would help him through puzzles, knowing just the right positioning and timing to get things to work. Since then I've dabbled in a wide range of technologies in the computer science field: from the ATmega328p micro-controller to an AWS EC2 instance, and a simple OpenGL simulation for fun to a Django and Vue web application analyzing student scores to help school administrators make decisions on how to best help students.
